Case Report: Late Kriti Dahal
Late Kriti Dahal was working in Japan as the sole breadwinner of her family when she was diagnosed with blood cancer. Due to her illness, she was compelled to return to Nepal to seek urgent medical treatment, placing her family under severe emotional and financial hardship.
Anuprastha Foundation supported her treatment by organizing social media fundraising campaigns, mobilizing donors, and raising funds to cover her chemotherapy sessions and hospital expenses. The collective generosity of supporters enabled her to continue receiving the treatment she urgently needed.
Despite every effort by her medical team, donors, and the Foundation, Kriti sadly passed away. Her story reflects the challenges faced by many patients who must leave their livelihoods due to critical illness and highlights the vital role of community support in ensuring access to life-saving medical care.
