Iman Singh Lama Tamang’s life took an unexpected and challenging turn after he was diagnosed with Aplastic Anemia, a serious bone marrow disorder that placed his health and future at significant risk. Before his illness, Iman was the sole earning member of his family, with his wife and 9-year-old son depending entirely on him for their daily needs and livelihood.

Due to the complexity of his condition, Iman required continuous medical care and long-term treatment. Unfortunately, a suitable bone marrow donor was not identified immediately, making a transplant unavailable at that stage. As a result, he had to rely on expensive medications and ongoing medical support to manage his condition while waiting for a possible future transplant opportunity.

Having already spent his lifetime savings on treatment, Iman and his family faced severe financial difficulties. Despite these challenges, his greatest motivation remained his hope to live for his young son, support his family, and regain the ability to contribute to their future.

Recognizing the urgency of his situation, Anuprastha Foundation initiated a social media awareness and fundraising campaign to share Iman’s medical journey with the wider community. Through digital outreach, the campaign helped raise awareness about his condition and connected him with compassionate individuals willing to support his treatment expenses.

The support mobilized through the campaign was directed toward assisting Iman’s medical needs, with funds raised transferred directly to his personal bank account and digital payment account to maintain transparency and ensure direct beneficiary support.
