Baby Rishima Shrestha

At just five years of age, Rishima Shrestha was diagnosed with blood cancer, beginning a difficult journey that required intensive medical treatment, regular hospital visits, and continuous care. The emotional and financial challenges of managing pediatric cancer placed a significant burden on her family. To support her treatment, Anuprastha Foundation contributed NPR 50,000, raised through ticket sales from the "Music to Heal & Help" Charity Concert organized by Anuprastha Foundation. The funds were provided to assist with Rishima's medical expenses, helping her family meet the costs associated with her ongoing cancer treatment. The initiative demonstrated how community-driven fundraising events can provide timely assistance to children facing life-threatening illnesses, enabling families to focus on treatment during an incredibly challenging period. Despite receiving medical care and community support, Rishima sadly passed away after her courageous battle with blood cancer. Although her life was tragically cut short, her story remains a reminder of the urgent need for accessible pediatric cancer care and continued support for families facing serious medical challenges.
