Baby Manjila Bhujel was diagnosed with B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (B-ALL), a severe form of blood cancer requiring prolonged chemotherapy, supportive care, and continuous medical monitoring. Her diagnosis marked the beginning of a long and challenging treatment journey for both her and her family.
The treatment process involved frequent hospital visits, intensive chemotherapy, medications, and ongoing management of complications associated with pediatric cancer. The emotional and financial burden on the family was significant, requiring external support to continue treatment.
To assist with her medical expenses, NPR 2,71,000 was raised through the \"Music to Heal & Help\" Concert in Surunga, Jhapa, organized in collaboration with local organizations and Anuprastha Foundation. The funds were handed over to support her treatment, reflecting strong community participation and solidarity.
The concert series brought together individuals, local groups, and supporters who contributed toward a shared cause, helping a child access life-saving medical care. It highlighted the power of collective action at the community level in responding to critical health emergencies.
Despite continued treatment efforts and support from the community, Baby Manjila Bhujel sadly passed away during the course of her illness. Her journey reflects both the harsh realities of pediatric cancer and the importance of timely access to advanced medical care and sustained support for affected families.
