Babucha Putuwar, a member of an Indigenous community in Nepal, suffered a severe traumatic brain injury after accidentally falling from a building. He remained in a vegetative state, requiring continuous treatment and full-time caregiving.\n\nWhen his wife — his primary caregiver — developed appendicitis, their daughter took on the responsibility of caring for him while managing the family's difficult circumstances.\n\nAnuprastha Foundation supported the case through public fundraising appeals. Busking Youths Nepal donated NRs. 30,000 to support his medical treatment, part of a wider effort by supporters who helped ease the financial burden.\n\nDespite medical care and continued support, Babucha passed away during treatment. This case reflects the importance of timely medical support and community participation in critical health emergencies.
